
Cutting straight to the chase this museum is FREE. Which when you explore the diversity of things on offer is a huge surprise and worthy of extra credit. To be clear they do put on some excellent additional displays for which there is a charge but as said there is much to do without the need to put your hand in your pocket.
The museum has aregional bias but as the area has been in the thick of British motoring history the exhibits are varied and will interest a wide age range. On display are over 240 cars, commercial vehicles and busses. In addition there are 94 motorcycles,200 cycles and an awesome 25,000 models on display. The museum is split intop "galeries" which inclue: motorsports, 80's and 90's, icons and commercial vehicles with too many more to list here. There is also a blitz experience which highlights the impact on the area of the extensive bombing in 1940 and 1941.
