Busy going nowhere

When a vehicle is stationary in traffic, with the engine on, all it does is pump out Co2 and burn fuel. At the busy times of day, bizarrely called "rush hours" that's what happens. Each of us deals with this frustration in our own ways, but for none of us is this an enjoyable experience. The solution is of course obvious. Travel outside of these peak times. Now that's easy to say but your employer might have something to say about you turning up an hour later than you're supposed to. However, increasingly companies are looking at flexible working arrangements and the use of technology to assist in changing work patterns. It can do no harm to ask the question and explore the possibilities. that is unless you like being parked on tarmac ,surrounded by other vehicles, busy going nowhere.
